Author: Ugo Baldassarre
Translation: Giorgio Aprile

It seems an eternity has passed: in reality, only one month has passed since the presentation of the new Olympus OM-D E-M1 Mark III.

No one could have imagined what was going to happen, why, among other things, I have not yet managed to get my hands on a test sample (on the other hand, just as I have always set up my test method, it would also be impossible to carry out an actual field test).
However, during this time, I have received several messages and requests, from acquaintances and non-acquaintances, asking me what I thought of the newborn, especially in relation to the excellent prices at which interesting alternatives can be found, first the Olympus OM-D E-M1X. The Laowa 7,5mm f/2 [here our article] is, for example, one of the lenses preferred by landscape architects: the very small size and the possibility of mounting cheap circular filters, without forgetting the extreme brightness, ideal for evening and night shooting, make it highly appreciated by those seeking compactness and quality. Laowa Fisheye 4mm f/2.8

Text: Ugo Baldassarre – Translation: Giorgio Aprile

It’s no secret that the Micro 4/3 photographic system is perhaps the most complete, in the mirrorless world, regarding the availability and coverage of each focal length: from the most extreme wide angles to the longer telephoto lenses, practically nothing is missing.

Yet, every now and then, someone still manages to amaze with the release of otherwise unusual products, such as the present Laowa 4mm f/2.8, a truly extreme fisheye. Continua a leggere Laowa Fisheye 4mm f/2.8
