A few weeks ago, several Olympus European Ambassadors were invited to promote the new professional zoom Zuiko 150-400 f / 4.5 1.25x PRO. During the event there was a photographer who took care of photographing them at work and creating the portraits that were then used for the actual promotion.
I went a little deeper and fell in love with Ashely Joanna‘s work; I thought it was worth sharing with all of you readers.

My interest in people coincides with my passion for photography. Originally from New York, I am an avid traveler with experience creating photo stories and capturing portraits of people around the world. My curiosity grows stronger each day to learn about people and tell their stories. The goal through my photography is to capture the essence of a person and my Olympus camera is the tool that makes this possible.
Creativity has always overpowered my interest in technology. I am not a technical photographer and am never the first person to know when a new piece of camera equipment is released. Specific camera brands did not interest me until I started shooting with Olympus. I am absolutely in love with using a Micro 4/3 sensor. The lightweight build & silent shutter are the two prominent features that changed the way I thought about cameras. Olympus’s lightweight cameras have made my photography shoots more enjoyable. I am never worried about my backpack being too heavy, or my shoulder hurting from carrying around my camera all day. As for the silent shutter, this allows me to capture images without making my subjects feel nervous from the loud clicking of the shutter release.
Using a camera I feel comfortable with and understand is extremely important because then I can solely focus on the details of the photoshoot. Shooting with Olympus E-m1x makes all of this possible.
